Lou Montello sent us these pages from the 96th Bomb Group Newsletter, which show a photograph of Pete Andreoli's crew during World War II. The Bomb Group carried out an extremely demanding and critical mission to Poznan, Poland, successfully, and received a Distinguished Unit Citation for it. Lou was a non-commissioned officer in the same Bomb Group with Pete, but they were in different squadrons and so didn't know each other then.
